Chrysler owned the Plymouth brand of automobiles, which was previously well-known

the North American automotive market and produced a number of vehicles that went 

 to become symbols of the late 20th-century American automotive industry. 

Unfortunately, low sales and a declining market value led to the brand's removal from the market in 2001

But Plymouth had a very good run in the auto industry; some of the most recognizable 

including the fantastic Plymouth Barracuda, actually wore the Plymouth emblem.
